G. - In 1951 graduated from the Repin Institute of Arts from Boris Loganson Workshop. Since 1939 participated in many exhibitions.
He painted genre and historical paintings, portraits, landscapes, sketches from the life. He is most famous for his paintings devoted to people and nature of Northern Karelija. Since 1951 was a member of the Leningrad Union of Artists. Was awarded the honorary titles of Honored Artist of Russian Federation (1970), and the People`s Artist of Russian Federation (1978). Paintings by Aleksey Eremin represented in State Russian Museum, State Tretyakov Gallery, and other art museums and private collections in the Russia, Japan, England, Finland, United States and throughout the world.
